My Top 5 Baby Products

In December I had my first baby.  My entire life everyone has said how much work babies are and how difficult getting your mom life together is.  Well everyone is correct being a mom IS A LOT OF WORK, but when I saw that little face somehow I just knew what to do.  I am only 3 months in (time is literally flying already!) but I do have several products that are my absolute favorite and honestly believe they help me get through the day.

Baby Breeza Formula Pro

Seriously worth every penny.  This company makes lots of items for baby feeding.  They have everything to bottles to sterilizers but the real superstar is the formula pro.  Essentially it’s a baby keriug.  It makes the perfect bottle every time no fuss no worries it takes 4 seconds to do.  I decided breast feeding was not for me so while doing some research I came across this company.  The cost is $179 for the original and $189 for the Advanced.  This seems pricey however when you think about how often you are actually using it, it’s well worth the money.

Similac Ready to Feed Forumla

Sticking with feeding next on my list is the premixed formula from Similac.  I’m all about quick and easy and while we are traveling having something ready to go for you takes out so much of the extra stress.  I did not read the directions fully the first time I used it, so just as an FYI you have to use the bottle within 48 hours of opening.

Ubbi Diaper Pail

I’d say now a days most people have some form of diaper pail.  I guess you could say it’s more on the pricey side but I feel it does the job pretty darn good.  You don’t have to have special bags to use this pail, they do sell them if you really wanted;Click here for the bags; It does say it keeps the bad smells out, for the most part I would agree.  Just keep in mind what you are throwing in your pail on the daily.  Nothing is going to be perfect. I change the bag once a week and spray with Lysol before replacing with a Febreeze scented trash bag to keep things as fresh as possible.

Rock’n Play Sleeper

I am very fortunate to say my little man sleeps through the night now.  The first couple weeks of bringing him home….not so much.  This sleeper became a lifesaver and gave me the most precious 2 hours of sleep every night I didn’t even know I could function on.   Not only does it rock, it vibrates and has a few different sound options to help soothe.  It’s portable, easy to wash and I use it daily.

Owlet Sock

I received this as a gift.  At first I thought it was a little over the top and a little silly.  All the way up until Coop had what I thought was a little cold.  Early one morning the sock red alerted me twice in 4 hours.  I decided to take him to the doctors just to stay on the safe side.  Turned out he had full blown RSV and crazy low oxygen levels.  This sock monitors your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels while they are wearing and I whole heartedly believe that sock saved his life.  While in the hospital his oxygen levels stayed at 65% for the first day and a half we were there.  Since then I have pushed it on every new parent I find.  The same company does have a video monitor you can purchase as well.

I have a bunch more products I can’t wait to try as Cooper gets older.  I think these are a pretty good start.  XO Nicole
