June Sephora PLAY! Box Review

Even the dead of Summer I still wear a full face of makeup with no shame.  However I also really enjoy making it look like I just woke up and really glow early in the morning.  This box has really helped make my Summer look dewy and refreshed.  Here’s what I got:

Laneige- Lip Sleeping Mask in Vanilla

I have never used a lip mask before but I suffer from dry lips all the time so I will do anything to keep them looking normal.  The texture is very similar to Vaseline but the smell is out of this world.  The vanilla is calming and while it has a thick texture it does not leave your lips feeling greasy.  This is one I will be purchasing for Winter. I give it 10/10.

Kaja- Mochi Glow Bouncy Highlighter-01 Toy Alien

I have been reading and seeing these highlighters in tons of videos lately so when I saw I was getting one in my box I was SO pumped.  This color is a nice champagne color so it gives you a very natural looking glow.  One thing I love about this product is it lets you go for ultra glam but works just as well for a natural glam. I give this a 10/10.

Stila- Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner-Jet Black

OK SO I have been on a gel liner kick for the last 3 years and this product made me question why I ever made that choice.  Keeping in mind it’s a sample, it has held up nicely and hasn’t dried out.  It has a felt tip which I normally do not like but so far it hasn’t caused any issues.  I give it 9/10.

Sephora Collection- All Day Hydrator-Hydrate and Glow

I’d say this product is very average.  When the product comes out it’s SUPER runny. To the point where some the product gets stuck in the lid.  It’s my biggest pet peeve.  There is no smell and this has the Sephora Clean badge.  The retail price is $16 however I feel like you can get something at a drugstore for half the price with the same quality.  For a sample its  great but I wouldn’t buy it myself.  I give it 6/10.

DevaCurl- Leave In Decadence Ultra Moisturizing Conditioner

As a blonde I’m always looking for something that will make my hair look and feel great.  Add my curls/waves and I need all the help I can get.  This product was nice to travel with and did smell nice.  But I honestly would not buy on my own.  I didn’t notice a huge wow in hydration for my hair, which you know is why I buy them?  I have super thick hair so maybe that was the problem? But in the end good as a sample made my life easy while traveling, but nothing I was in awe of.  I give it 5/10.

2 days until my next box is here and I’m looking forward to the skin products coming my way!
